You breathe every second of your life. But did you ever stop to wonder if you were breathing the right way? The role that breathing plays in mental and physical functioning is an important factor governing health and disease processes. The way that you breathe can affect your blood circulation, energy levels, sleep patterns, moods, anxiety levels, and your thought processes. Vice versa it is also true that your breathing will be strongly affected by your lifestyle and thereby the way you cope with stress —real or imagined.

Come to the beautiful and tranquil island of St. Lucia and release your stress and strengthen your self esteem in a one to two week workshop with Astrid Shri-Devi Zimmermann who will teach you a course using a combination of Kundalini Yoga, Hui Chung Gong, 5 Tibetans, Meditation, Self-Massage, Joy-Dance all of which are underlined with a focus on Conscious Breathing Technique's.

In this course various breathing techniques are combined with Hui Chung Gong, Five Tibetans and Kundalini Yoga. You start your days with some fresh brewed herb tea, breathing and yoga exercises, a light refreshment of tropical fruits and local juices, followed by a few more exercises and meditation before adjourning to a healthy and delicious lunch.    > more

Goals in this course are:
- to live the moment and reach better posture and energy with conscious breathing
- to strengthen our self esteem and personal responsibility
- to find practicable use to ease our day to day lives

How we achieve our goals
- with Affirmations (as positive elements) combined with breathing and exercises
- with Meditation - find our own personal way of meditation to look after ourselves with love and sensitivity
- with self massages and partner massage which we learn how to do - a highlight of the class
About the Instructor
Sometimes life takes you along strange paths leading you back to places where you have already been. In saying so, I am delighted to be able to welcome you to St. Lucia which I called home for a long time. It makes sense to be back to teach on this beautiful island as this is where my spiritual journey to healing started.

Many years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and although the date for surgery had been set, an inner voice would not allow me to undergo the recommended surgery. Instead I became my own healer.    > more

What to Bring

All exercise equipment is provided. Please bring comfortable sports wear and a pair of closed comfortable walking shoes for the island excursions.

For those sensitive to the sun or allergy prone we recommend to bring a sun hat, and allergy sensitive sunscreen. For those that have a particularly fond relationship with island mosquitoes may wish to add some insect repellant and after bite lotion to their "To Bring" list.
